In September 2026 we plan to dig a series of wells for indigenous in the interior of Amapa. These will be the first using the new drilling equipment and logistically one of the more complex projects. These communities have to walk a half a mile down a valley in order to get water. The current water source is a small man made lake that was created when the dirt road was put in through the hills. But the lake is runoff water from rains and is often contaminated. We are hoping that three or four wells will attend the majority of the families!
